Stimulation at an intensity which is too high or for too long a duration, can result in discomfort in your wrist, hand, or fingers, or muscle contractions or skin irritation. Some users may experience skin irritation, hypersensitivity or an allergic reaction to the wristband, gel pads and stimulation. The long-term effects of using the device are unknown, users are advised to periodically re-evaluate the long-term usefulness of the device.

The following are possible minor/moderate risks of adverse reactions which may arise using the device:

• Discomfort with stimulation (e.g. sensation of stinging, muscle weakness, fatigue)
• Allergic reaction to the device, strap or gel pads
• Skin irritation and / or redness and / or itching

These reactions typically resolve once stimulation has stopped, however, if symptoms persist, seek medical advice or consult your GP or Clinician. 

In the unlikely event that any of the following more significant issues arise, immediately stop using the device and seek medical assistance: 

• Signs of persistent and significant skin irritation, sores, electrical burns or lesions at the site of stimulation 
• Significant and persistent pain discomfort in the arm, wrist, or hand 
• A feeling of chest pressure during stimulation 
• Swelling on your arm, wrist or hand 
• Headache or feeling of pressure in the head during stimulation
