Yes, a smartphone is required initially to set the device up, but not for ongoing use. The Neupulse C device is controlled via the Neutrack C App.

When you first receive the device, you’ll need to download the app to:

1. Set up the device
2. Customise stimulation settings (e.g. intensity, frequency, duration) to suit your comfort
3. Access the detailed usage guide and support information
   
   

After setup:

Once the device is set up through the app, it does not need to remain connected. You can close the app and the device will continue to operate using the saved settings. Pressing the button on the device will begin a stimulation session.

However, if you need to adjust any settings, this must be done via the Neutrack C app.
